1. Shipping Coverage
Domestic (India):
- We ship to all serviceable pin codes across India
- Free shipping available on all domestic orders
International:
- We ship internationally to select countries
- International shipping charges apply and will be calculated at checkout
- Delivery times vary by destination (typically 5-10 business days)
2. Shipping Partners
Domestic India:
- We use Shiprocket as our logistics partner, which works with multiple trusted courier services including Blue Dart, Delhivery, DTDC, Xpressbees, and others
- The courier partner is automatically assigned based on your delivery location for fastest and most reliable service
- We do not offer the option to choose a specific courier service
International:
- We use DTDC/FedEx for international shipments
- All international orders include full tracking
- Courier selection based on destination and service availability
3. Order Processing & Dispatch Time
- Orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation
- For prepaid orders (UPI/Card/Net Banking): Dispatch within 1-2 business days
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Dispatch within 1-2 business days after order verification (India only)
- High-value orders (above ₹25,000) may require phone/WhatsApp verification before dispatch
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day
- You will receive a dispatch confirmation with tracking details via SMS, email, and WhatsApp
4. Delivery Timeline
Domestic India:
Metro Cities & Major Towns:
- Delivery within 3-4 business days from dispatch
Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities:
- Delivery within 4-6 business days from dispatch
Remote Areas:
- Delivery within 5-7 business days from dispatch
International:
- Delivery within 5-10 business days from dispatch (varies by destination)
- Additional time may be required for customs clearance
Note: These are estimated timelines and may vary based on courier availability, weather conditions, local holidays, customs clearance, or unforeseen circumstances.
5. Shipping Charges
Domestic:
- Free Shipping: Available on all orders across India
- Shipping charges (if applicable) will be calculated at checkout based on order value and delivery location
International:
- Shipping charges calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight
- Any additional charges will be clearly displayed before payment
6. International Shipping - Customs Duties & Taxes
Shipping Method:
- All international shipments are sent via DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid)
Customer Responsibility:
- All customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and any other fees imposed by your country are the sole responsibility of the customer
- These charges are collected by the courier or customs authority at the time of delivery and must be paid by the recipient
- We do not refund or reimburse customs duties, taxes, or related fees under any circumstances
- Duty and tax rates vary by country and are determined by your local customs authority, not by DJRV Gems
Return to Origin (RTO) - International:
- If a shipment is refused, unclaimed, or returned due to non-payment of customs duties/taxes, you will be responsible for the original shipping charges, return shipping costs, and any customs duties/taxes incurred
- Refunds will only be issued after deducting all shipping costs, RTO charges, and any duties/taxes paid by us
- RTO due to customer refusal or non-payment is not eligible for free return shipping
Important:
- By placing an international order, you acknowledge and accept full responsibility for all customs duties, taxes, and potential RTO charges
- Please monitor your shipment tracking and be available to pay any customs charges to avoid RTO
7. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:
- SMS with tracking number
- Email with tracking link
- WhatsApp message with order status
- You can track your shipment in real-time using the tracking link provided

8. Packaging & Security
- All gemstones are packaged with extreme care using secure, tamper-proof packaging
- Multiple layers of protective material ensure your gemstone arrives in perfect condition
- Packages are sealed with security tape to prevent tampering
- High-value orders receive additional security packaging
- Each package includes the gemstone, IDI certificate, and invoice
9. Insurance & Liability
Domestic India:
Important Notice:
- Shiprocket does not provide insurance coverage for luxury goods including gemstones, jewelry, and precious stones
- While we use secure packaging and trusted courier partners, we cannot guarantee against loss or damage during transit

We strongly recommend customers to:
- Choose prepaid payment methods for high-value orders (better tracking and accountability)
- Inspect the package carefully before accepting delivery
- Record an unboxing video for high-value orders (₹25,000+)
- Report any damage or tampering immediately upon delivery
International:
- All international shipments are fully insured for the declared value
- In case of loss or damage, claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery with unboxing video evidence
Our Commitment:
- We take full responsibility for proper packaging and timely dispatch
- In case of loss or damage during transit, we will work with the courier partner to investigate and resolve the issue
- For damaged products, we will offer replacement or refund after verification (unboxing video required)
- We will assist you in filing claims with the courier company if needed
Customer Protection:
- Always inspect the package in front of the delivery person
- Do not accept damaged or tampered packages
- Take photos/videos if you notice any issues

10. Delivery Process
Domestic Standard Delivery:
- Courier partner will attempt delivery at the address provided
- You will receive a call/SMS before delivery attempt
- Signature may be required for high-value shipments
- Please ensure someone is available to receive the package
Cash on Delivery (COD) - India Only:
- Payment must be made in cash to the courier partner at the time of delivery
- Please keep exact change ready
- COD is available only on orders above ₹5,000
- UPI payment to delivery person may be available (subject to courier partner)
International Delivery:
- Signature required for all international shipments
- Customer must be available to pay customs duties/taxes (if applicable)
- Valid ID may be required by customs authority
11. Failed Delivery & RTO (Return to Origin)
Domestic:
If delivery fails due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Customer unavailability
- Refusal to accept delivery
- Customer not reachable
What happens:
- Courier will make 2-3 delivery attempts
- If all attempts fail, the package will be returned to us (RTO - Return to Origin)
- Return shipping charges may apply and will be deducted from any refund
- For prepaid orders: Refund will be processed after deducting return shipping costs
- For COD orders: No refund applicable as payment was not made
International:
- If delivery fails due to non-payment of customs duties/taxes, customer refusal, or unavailability, all shipping costs, RTO charges, and duties/taxes will be deducted from refund
- No exceptions for international RTO
To avoid RTO:
- Provide accurate and complete delivery address with landmark
- Ensure your phone number is correct and reachable
- Respond to courier partner's calls/messages
- Track your order and plan to be available for delivery
- For international orders: Be prepared to pay customs duties/taxes
12. Address Changes
- Address can be modified only before dispatch
- Once dispatched, address cannot be changed
- Contact us immediately at support@djrvgems.com if you need to change the address
- We will try our best to accommodate if the order hasn't been handed to the courier
13. Delivery Issues
Damaged Package:
- Do NOT accept delivery if package appears damaged or tampered
- Take photos/videos and inform the courier partner immediately

- We will arrange for replacement or refund
Lost Package:
- If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it, contact us within 24 hours
- We will investigate with the courier partner
- Provide any relevant information (security footage, neighbor confirmation, etc.)
Delayed Delivery:
- If delivery is delayed beyond estimated timeline, contact us
- We will track and expedite with the courier partner
- Delays due to force majeure, natural disasters, customs clearance, or courier issues are beyond our control
14. Unboxing Video Mandatory
For your protection, we strongly recommend:
- Record a complete unboxing video

- Sealed package before opening
- Opening process
- Contents of the package
- Gemstone and certificate
- This helps in case of any disputes regarding product condition or authenticity
- Unboxing video is mandatory for return/refund claims
15. High-Value Orders (₹25,000+)
Additional security measures:
- Phone/WhatsApp verification before dispatch
- Confirmation of delivery address and preferred delivery time
- Mandatory signature on delivery
- Unboxing video strongly recommended
- We may request photo ID verification from the delivery person
16. Festive Season & Peak Times
- During festive seasons (Diwali, New Year, etc.), delivery may take 2-3 days longer
- We will inform you of any expected delays
- Plan your orders in advance during peak seasons
