At DJRV Gems, we are committed to delivering your precious gemstones safely and securely. Please read our shipping and delivery policy carefully to understand our process.


SHIPPING & DISPATCH

Order Processing Time

We understand how excited you are to receive your gemstone, and we work hard to get it to you quickly and safely. Once your payment is confirmed, we carefully pack and dispatch your order within 1-2 business days.

  • Prepaid orders (UPI/Card/Net Banking): Dispatch within 1-2 business days
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders: Dispatch within 1-2 business days after order verification
  • High-value orders (above ₹25,000) may require phone/WhatsApp verification before dispatch
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day

Shipping Partner

We use Shiprocket as our logistics partner, which works with multiple trusted courier services including Blue Dart, Delhivery, DTDC, Xpressbees, and others. The courier partner is automatically assigned based on your delivery location for the fastest and most reliable service.

Packaging & Security

Every gemstone is packaged with extra care using secure, tamper-proof packaging to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. Multiple layers of protective material, security seals, and careful handling ensure your gemstone arrives safely. Each package includes the gemstone, IDI certificate, and invoice.


DELIVERY TIMELINE & COVERAGE

Shipping Coverage

We offer free shipping across India on all orders. We currently ship only within India to ensure the fastest and most reliable service.

Delivery Timeline

  • Metro cities and major towns: 3-4 business days from dispatch
  • Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities: 4-6 business days from dispatch
  • Remote areas: 5-7 business days from dispatch

These are estimated timelines and may vary based on courier availability, weather conditions, local holidays, or unforeseen circumstances.


ORDER TRACKING

Once your gemstone is on its way, we keep you informed every step of the journey. You'll receive automatic updates via SMS, email, and WhatsApp when your order is dispatched, out for delivery, and successfully delivered.

You can track your shipment in real-time using the tracking link we provide. If you have any questions about your delivery or need to reschedule, our team is just a WhatsApp message away at +91-[Your Number].


INSURANCE & LIABILITY

Important Notice

Our delivery partner does not provide insurance coverage for luxury goods, including gemstones, jewelry, and precious stones. While we use secure packaging and trusted courier partners, we cannot guarantee against loss or damage during transit.

We Strongly Recommend:

  • Choose prepaid payment methods for high-value orders (better tracking and accountability)
  • Inspect the package carefully before accepting delivery
  • Record an unboxing video for all orders, especially those above ₹10,000
  • Report any damage or tampering immediately upon delivery

Our Commitment

  • We take full responsibility for proper packaging and timely dispatch
  • In case of loss or damage during transit, we will work with the courier partner to investigate and resolve the issue
  • For damaged products, we will offer replacement or refund after verification (unboxing video required)
  • We will assist you in filing claims with the courier company if needed

  • Always inspect the package in front of the delivery person
  • Do not accept damaged or tampered packages
  • Take photos/videos if you notice any issues

CANCELLATION POLICY

Before Dispatch

You may cancel your order at any time before it has been dispatched. To cancel, contact us immediately via email at contact@djrvgems.com or WhatsApp at +91 9879152660 with your order number.

  • Prepaid orders: Full refund will be processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method
  • COD orders: Order will be cancelled with no charges

After Dispatch

Once your order has been dispatched and handed over to the courier partner, it cannot be cancelled. However, you may refuse delivery or return the product as per our return policy (see below).

  • If you refuse delivery, the order will be returned to us (RTO - Return to Origin)
  • Return shipping charges may be deducted from your refund
  • Refund will be processed after we receive the returned product

High-Value Orders

For orders above ₹25,000, we may contact you via phone or WhatsApp to confirm your order details and delivery address before dispatch. This is to ensure accuracy and prevent cancellations.


RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Return Window: 7 Days from Delivery

We want you to absolutely love your gemstone purchase. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, we accept returns within 7 days of delivery under the following conditions:

Returns Accepted For:

  • Product received is damaged or defective
  • Product received is significantly different from the description
  • Wrong product was shipped
  • Product lacks authenticity certificate (if promised)
  • Change of mind or buyer's remorse (conditions apply - see below)

Returns NOT Accepted For:

  • Minor color variations in natural gemstones (slight variations are natural and expected)
  • Products without original packaging, certificate, and documentation
  • Products showing signs of wear, damage, or tampering after delivery

Return Shipping & Costs

For Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products:

  • We cover all return costs - you pay nothing
  • Full refund including original shipping charges
  • Replacement or refund - your choice
  • Contact us immediately with unboxing video and photos

For Change of Mind or Buyer's Remorse:

  • Return shipping costs are borne by customer (approximately ₹200-₹500 depending on location)
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable
  • If IGI certification was requested and provided, the full IGI certification cost will be deducted from your refund
  • Product must be unworn, unaltered, in original condition with all packaging and certificates
  • Unboxing video required for verification

Special Certifications:

  • IDI certification is complimentary and included with every gemstone
  • IGI certification is an optional premium service at an additional cost
  • IGI certification costs are non-refundable as the certification is permanent and remains with the gemstone
  • If you return a gemstone with IGI certification due to a change of mind, the full IGI certification fee will be deducted from your refund

Return Process

  1. Contact us via email or WhatsApp within 7 days of delivery
  2. Provide order number, reason for return, photos, and unboxing video (mandatory)
  3. We will review and approve/reject the return request within 24-48 hours
  4. If approved, ship the product back securely in its original packaging with a certificate
  5. Use tracked, insured courier service for your protection

Refund Timeline

  • Refund processed within 7-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product
  • Prepaid orders: Refund to original payment method (UPI/Card/Net Banking)
  • COD orders: Refund via bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) - please provide bank details
  • Applicable deductions (return shipping, IGI certification costs, etc.) will be made before refund

Exchange Policy

We offer exchanges for different gemstones of equal or higher value, subject to availability. Price difference must be paid for higher-value stones. Contact us to discuss exchange options.


FAILED DELIVERY & RTO (Return to Origin)

If delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Customer unavailability
  • Refusal to accept delivery
  • Customer not reachable

What happens:

  • Courier will make 2-3 delivery attempts
  • If all attempts fail, the package will be returned to us (RTO)
  • Return shipping charges will be deducted from any refund
  • For prepaid orders: Refund processed after deducting return shipping costs
  • For COD orders: No refund applicable as payment was not made

To avoid RTO:

  • Provide accurate and complete delivery address with landmark
  • Ensure your phone number is correct and reachable
  • Respond to courier partner's calls/messages
  • Track your order and plan to be available for delivery

UNBOXING VIDEO RECOMMENDATION

For your protection, we strongly recommend recording a complete unboxing video for all orders, especially those above ₹10,000.

Your video should show:

  • Sealed package before opening
  • Opening process
  • Contents of the package
  • Gemstone and certificate

This helps in case of any disputes regarding product condition or authenticity. Unboxing video is mandatory for return/refund claims.
